Yamaha YTR-6310Z "Bobby Shew" professional trumpet in lacquer finish. Built to Shew's specifications, this medium bore (.445") trumpet features a reverse leadpipe, gold brass leadpipe and monel pistons. Intended for jazz and commercial work, this horn benefits from the consistent, precision manufacture that Yamaha is known for. No mouthpiece included.I've cleaned and serviced this trumpet with new valve washers and felts, and new water key seals. It's in great playing shape. Lots of lacquer loss, small ding on top of bell (see photo 5), and other cosmetic wear. Valves are tight and smooth. Slides all work freely. Third slide has been fitted with a lyre mount. Wear to lining and shell of case and, as usual with Yamaha pro cases, mouthpiece holder is loose. Case is still sturdy and closes properly.All my trumpets are cleaned, polished, lubricated, and have failed or worn out parts replaced before offering them to my customers. I am a professional player, and wouldn't sell a trumpet I wouldn't want to play. Many have visual flaws, but all are in good playing order.
