Courtesy Posting! Hi everyone, I am Bass, they call me a huge sweetheart who loves my snuggles and kisses. I'm brilliant, at least that's what I think "highly intelligent” means. All I know is I can sit and shake on command and am quick to learn more for the right owner. I am told I am a sweet guy with a great personality and the brains to match. I need someone who understands my size and spirit, someone who has had some dog experience. I've been working on developing my skillset while staying here at Animal Care Sanctuary so I'm up for a job if you need me to work. I do like to play and getting loving from my people is my favorite thing, next to treats of course! I'm almost five years old and I'm searching for my forever home. Bass is a little timid when he first meets new people but only takes him a minute or two to come around and get comfortable. He would excel with a job to do and someone who can put in the work with him. If you are looking for a dog who can work but loves to lay on the couch and cuddle too, then he is the guy for you. He did live with two large GSD’s and was fine but would not recommend small dogs as he does have a good prey drive. So also, no cats. Bass is neutered, micro chipped, and up to date on all vaccines.
