Lenny was adopted by our family when he was around 2 months old in 2015 from a litter of puppies that were sent to the shelter. He is now 8 years old and has been our loving family dog ever since. Due to my mother’s passing in 2022 and my father’s failing health, we need to rehome Lenny so he can enjoy the rest of his life as we take care of my father.Lenny has a lot of energy, loves cuddling and playing with his toys (fetch, tug, etc). He is smart and obedient, fully potty trained and loves people. Lenny has not been around many small children (under 13) so I don’t know how he would be with them. He is generally OK with other dogs, but his energy often tires others out or make other dogs uncomfortable. He is not good with cats. He does not have a bite history.In my dream scenario, he would be the only dog among an adult family or single adult. He would be an amazing running partner!
