Opportunities for advancement Role Overview Reporting to the Process Analyst/Lead, the Purchaser will play a vital role in procurement for our construction projects. They are responsible for sourcing and acquiring materials, equipment, and services required for construction. Effective communication, negotiation skills, and a solid understanding of construction materials are key aspects of this role. Duties/Responsibilities Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and delivery speed. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve the best value for the organization. Collaborate with internal teams to forecast material and equipment needs for specific projects. Monitor inventory levels and manage inventory control systems to minimize excess or shortages. This will be done through the two current tracking systems in place.
