Meet Jewels! She is a 20 year old mare but you wouldnât know it! She is ready to work, and has a funny personality. Travels well, great on trails and with obstacles. Has started training for ranch riding classes as well. She is a forward type horse but responds to the lightest cues. Was a barrel horse for a young girl before I got her a few years ago.Does roll backs, opens gates, leg yields, working on a side pass. Has been around cows and has shown an interest in them. I think she would be a cool sorting or working ranch horse. I love this mare but lack of time and finances forces sale. She is a VERY easy keeper and super gritty. Great feet.This is not the horse for your grandma but if you are looking for something that wants to work she is it! An experienced kid could handle this mare.She is the definition of a red mare so if you donât like attitude sheâs not for you. She will get hot if you try to pick on her too much.
