Position Overview Under the general supervision of the CLINICAL NURSING DIRECTOR, OR THE ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, NURSING EDUCATION, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface General Hospital, the CONTINUING EDUCATION INSTRUCTOR is responsible for: acting as a clinical educational resource for nursing unit personnel; facilitating the learning process and evaluating learning outcome; planning, coordinating, and in conjunction with the Nursing Director, evaluating unit specific orientation programs; participating in educational activities within the specific Department, the Patient Care Portfolio, and throughout the Hospital; and performing other related duties as required/assigned. Experience Minimum two (2) years recent acute medicine nursing experience required. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required. Advanced backssment Course required. Certification/Licensure/Registration CRNM registration required. Active participation in professional associations e. g. Association of Registered Nurses of Manitoba.
