Multi State Farmington Hills law firm with emphasis in Consumer/Commercial Collections and Insurance Subrogation is seeking a Paralegal/Legal Assistant with experience. Candidates should have the following attributes: Reliable with strong work ethic. Pays attention to detail. Well organized. Ability to multi-task, as well as the ability to work in a high volume and deadline driven environment is essential. Ability to work in a team environment, and act as a team player. Degree and/or Experience: Bachelor degree, Associate degree, or Paralegal and/or Legal Assistant certification, or; Comparable experience in a collection law firm or the legal department of a 3rd party collection environment, or; 2-5 years of experience with a law firm or legal department. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with people at all organization levels of the firm. Computer Experience: Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, and Outlook) Previous experience with the following Collection Software is a plus: Collection Partner and/or Cogent Attendance: Candidates should have reliable transportation and be able to work regular business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Interview/Material: Candidates must complete an Application before/at the time of interview. Applicants, per firm visitor policies, should be prepared to present two (2) forms of identification.
