The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background from a nationally recognized law school and specific expertise in financial services matters, including investigations related to bank regulatory and nonbank financial institutions. Experience with regulatory bodies such as the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Department of Justice, Federal Trade Commission, bank regulatory agencies, or state attorney general offices is highly desirable.
