Approximate Date of Birth:8/8/2022 Description: Soup was a very shy kitten. Since being in foster care he has blossomed into a snuggly, sweet, loving companion. He loves being carried with his head on your shoulder & purrs up a storm. He has the most adoring eyes and loves to gaze at his humans when he's adjusted to them. He's going to make a wonderful, lifelong companion for a great family, following his people all over and sitting in your lap any chance he gets. While in foster, Soup seriously injured himself and fractured a leg while playing. He had surgery with complete success however (thank goodness and the amazing vet). However, even as he ages, he is one of the clumsiest, most spatially unaware cats we have cared for. His new family has to be ready for crazy kitten antics and him occasionally taking a nose dive off a couch or counter. If you have a second story home, balcony, or other landings that he could fall off of, he's probably not the right fit. Once he adjusts to his new surroundings he wants nothing more then to be next to someone. He can be very active at night and tries to cuddle as close as possible to you if you are sleeping. It is recommended he goes to a house with other active/playful kitties or he's almost guaranteed to keep his family awake every night. He is used to being able to sleep with his humans, is likely to cry if kept out of the bedroom. He's in a foster home with dogs and tolerates them, but much prefers the company of cats.
