Lucy is a one year old Bagle (Bassett/Beagle) mix that weighs 40 pounds. She is a friendly, happy go lucky girl that loves everybody. Lucy plays well with other dogs and is good with cats. She is spayed and fully vaccinated. Lucy tested 'slightly' positive for heartworms and is on the 'slow method' of treatment, which is biweekly doses of oral moxidectin (generic ProHeart). It is highly recommended that Lucy's adopter request a ProHeart12 injection from their vet, which lasts a full year as the 'slow kill' method of heartworm treatment and heartworm prevention and would replace bi-weekly doses of oral moxidectin. Lucy's adoption fee is a $600 donation to the rescue. September 9, 2023, 1:52 pm
