Management Accountant – Hospitality and Leisure Group Role: Management Accountant Location: East London Hybrid Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 I’m working with a fantastic fast-growing investment and advisory group focused on the Hospitality and Leisure industry. They support independent businesses looking for expertise and capital to deliver ambitious growth plans. The role will focus on the music festival portfolio. The right candidate will need great technical skills but also enjoy working in a creative and fast-moving environment. Key Responsibilities: Preparation of period-end management accounts, including prepayments, accruals and posting journals. Analysis and commentary of the consolidated profit and loss, balance sheet and account reconciliations. Collaborate with and aid various departments, including Tax, FP&A, and operations teams, in analysing specific allocated P&L costs. Build and develop a strong working relationship with the Events Ops team so any impact on accounting and financial close can be detected in advance. Support and facilitate their PO process and gain a better understanding of costs. Producing various weekly and monthly reports, with variance analysis and follow-up. Ownership of Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger. Investigate accounts payable issues as needed. Sets the accounts payable departmental budget. Assisting with year-end audit. Assisting with budget and forecast processes. The successful candidate: Be part-qualified in either ACA, ACCA or CIMA. Experience in multi-site leisure or hospitality is preferred. Possess advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Demonstrated ability to stick to deadlines in fast fast-paced environment. Efficient in producing and analysing financial reports.
