Real Fun.As a Creation, Design and Development Intern, you willexecute proactive and reactive customer projects while ensuring laboratory activities meet or exceed technical, safety and efficiency goals.Click here to hear from our 2023 Summer Interns on why this internship is for YOU!Job Responsibilities Batch, make minor base modifications, screen ingredients and execute minor formulation changes with supervision of the Scientist; update formulas accordingly in the formula database.Generate data for customer demo sheets and prepare sample shipments.Perform technical analysis on samples and record results in project file.Understand and perform basic math conversions.Maintain lab safety, organization and cleanliness; take personal responsibility to engage in plant and food safety practices to prevent hazards that cause foodborne illness or injury and provide a clean, safe work environment.Monitor and order stock of ingredients for use in sampling; correctly store all products to ensure product integrity and maintain good workspace environment.Perform other related duties and assignments as required.STRENGTHS OF A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE Able to complete an internship in the summer (May/June-August 2024)Must be geographically flexible to relocate to ADM sitesPursuing a four-year degree in Food Science or a related field with an anticipated graduation between December 2024 and Summer 2026Preferred GPA of 2.8 or greaterKnowledge of Microsoft Office softwareAbility to function effectively, both independently and with a teamExcellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to collaborate within various levels of an organizationADM requires the successful completion of a background check.INTERNSHIP DETAILSInternships are 10-12 weeks in durationMust be open to relocation to various locations (Kentucky, Georgia, etc)Interns are responsible for transportation to and from workInterns who demonstrate high potential and engagement may be offered another internship if still pursuing a degree, or a full-time position after graduationADM requires the successful completion of a background check.Excited about this role but don't meet every requirement listed?
