From nursing staffing, temp to hire, and permanent to healthcare contracts, 10bits provides hospitals and medical facilities with high-quality clinical professionals with the highest standards and compliance to provide the best medical care.Job Title: Sterile Processing TechJob Location: Detroit, MIJob Type: Contract - 13 weeksJob Duties:* Receive, inspect, and disassemble soiled medical instruments and equipment, ensuring proper documentation and tracking.* Clean, decontaminate, and sanitize instruments using specialized equipment, detergents, and cleaning processes.* Assemble, package, and prepare sterile instrument trays, surgical kits, and equipment sets following established protocols and quality standards.* Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves, ensuring accurate cycle selection and proper loading techniques.* Monitor and document sterilization processes, including time, temperature, and pressure parameters, to ensure efficacy and compliance with regulations.* Maintain accurate records of all sterilized items, including lot numbers and expiration dates, in accordance with regulatory guidelinesJob Requirements:* BLS* HSPA/CBSPD certified* Must have 5 years of experience* Covid cardSchedule:* 5x8* Day/Evening/Night - all 3 shifts available* 40 hours guaranteed in a weekBenefits: Referral BonusALL01Job Type: ContractPay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hourSchedule:* 12 hour shift* Day shift* Evening shift* Night shiftExperience:* Sterile Processing Technician: 5 years (Required)License/Certification:* CSPDT (Required)* HSPA (Required)Work Location: In person%62047372% %%medtech%%
