The Job:The role of an HR Internal Communications Intern is for someone passionate about bringing the Epicor experience to life for employees across the globe. As an intern, you will gain the opportunity to cross-collaborate with partners within Epicor, grow your business acumen, and feel empowered to put your expertise to the test. We're looking for an intern who is willing to jump in and bring fresh ideas to the table.What you will be doing: Write and edit content for our internal communications channel, Viva EngageSupport the development of our intranet by writing and editing stories, reviewing and maintaining site content, and identifying opportunities from cross-collaboration across business functions.Draft strategic communications plans for centers of excellence within HR to exceed their identified goals and objectives.You bring (most) of this!: Currently a rising junior, junior, rising senior or senior enrolled in an undergraduate program Excellent, writing, problem-solving, and communication skills and should be digitally savvy. Must demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills and harness industry-relevant technologies.Knowledge of AP Style and familiarity of Canva or other design software.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Passion to learn about corporate internal communications and activate new ideas.About the Internship: The Epicor internship is designed for rising Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors. It is a paid, 10-week program that provides hands-on work experience in a professional setting for students exploring career options. The summer intern cohort will take part in a robust professional development curriculum, mentoring and regular feedback from supervisors to facilitate professional growth. The summer internship program will start June 06, 2024, and end August 09, 2024.Program Goals: Contribute to student career development & success through real work experienceDevelop collaboration skills for a diverse, multi-generational workforceOffer hands-on experience in the student's field/function of studyProvide a safe learning environment for professional developmentLearning Objectives: Students will have the opportunity to develop their skills in (1) communication, (2) critical thinking, (3) interpersonal communication & emotional intelligence, (4) project management, (5) networking and (6) professionalism as well as enhance their understanding of the ERP space.
