Position: Regional Marketing Specialist Location: Salt Lake City, UT Job Id: 1174 # of Openings: 1 Summary: Responsible for the coordination and implementation of all marketing aspects for Banterra's Western Region, which includes Salt Lake City, Utah; Scottsdale, Arizona; Tempe, Arizona; and Sun Canyon Bank brand in Sun City West, Arizona. Also responsible for coordinating the marketing needs for the company's entire mortgage division, of which management is largely based in Utah. Candidate will report to the Marketing Director, working closely with the Marketing Director and marketing team members. Candidate should have a variety of skill sets for marketing including graphic design, digital media, photography (basic with iPhone; for social media), event planning, and writing skills including press releases and other communication. Candidate should have experience with software including Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, as well as online tools such as content management systems and Canva. This position will also represent Banterra or Sun Canyon Bank at community events and in business or organization meetings. The ideal candidate should have a professional and personable demeanor, preferably with public-speaking and event planning experience. Position can be remote but some on-site needs are required, including a weekly staff meeting at Salt Lake City location. Responsibilities: include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned. Coordinate ongoing events for Western Region, working closely with the Market Executive(s) and Regional Market Executive. Travel will be needed at times to Arizona for event coordination and other marketing needs. Create branded materials for a variety of marketing needs such as brochures, flyers, signs, etc., coordinating internal content and disclosure needs. Lead special projects and plans as assigned. Assist in the creation of digital marketing strategies, including specific strategies for Sun Canyon Bank and the implementation of that plan. Monitor and maintain content and visual needs in CMS for Sun Canyon Bank website. Assist in 30-day social media plans and implementation for Sun Canyon Bank, Salt Lake City, and Scottsdale post needs. Assist in producing short videos for website and social networking communication and/or work with an outside resource for video production for digital needs. Coordinate all photo shoot needs for Western Region team members and other photography needs as assigned. Assist with in-branch digital TV and digital sign messaging systems for Western Region. Create, distribute, and follow-up to press releases, media, and other news opportunities for Western Region needs, obtaining approvals from Marketing Director, Compliance, and those quoted. Assist Marketing Director and occasionally lead in negotiating and planning media buys. Assist Marketing Director with various marketing, promotional, and public relations plans and internal/external presentation needs as assigned. Collaborate with compliance on all branded communication, including ongoing evaluations of applicable policies and procedures. Coordinate all needs for sponsorships, donations, and charity promotion for the Western Region, including events, ad creation, PR, branch communication, etc. Provide graphic design, copywriting, editing and proofreading tasks for various marketing and company initiatives. Qualifications and Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, graphic design, or a related field, or a commensurate combination of education and experience required. Previous marketing experience strongly preferred. Proofreading experience strongly preferred. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Advanced understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop, as well as CMS experience. Demonstrable understanding of design and marketing principles. Proficient computer literacy, including advanced understanding of Microsoft systems and Office Suite. Strong work ethic and time-management skills, particularly in a work-from-home environment, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at once. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to write routine correspondence and communicate effectively and tactfully, orally and in writing, with internal and external customers, vendors, and management. Careful attention to detail and a thoroughness in completing work tasks. Exceptional organizational and project management abilities. A friendly, helpful, and courteous approach to work and ability to maintain a positive attitude when working with internal and external customers under diverse conditions. Strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to analyze potential project outcomes with the adaptability to redirect attention as needed to meet targets and deadlines. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Must understand and comply with company policies and procedures. Current driver's license and reliable transportation with appropriate insurance coverage; additionally, the ability to drive regularly in the course of performing assigned duties and responsibilities. Intermediate typing skills to meet the needs of this position. Ability to work with minimal supervision while performing tasks.
