Position: Infrastructure Systems Administrator Location: Mattoon, IL Job Id: 3304 # of Openings: 1 The Infrastructure Systems Administrator will be the individual who will protect our critical information, systems, and assets, build solutions, implement new software and hardware, provide training, and assist in the development of an overall IT strategy. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, infrastructure tools, network applications, servers, and hardware devices. Maintain data center health using preexisting management tools and respond to hardware issues as they arise; help build, test, and maintain new servers as needed. Perform server administration tasks, including user and group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together correctly. Improving the efficiency of current networks. Configuring servers, switches, and routers. Arranging scheduled upgrades. Perform on-site or remote diagnostic analyses of network devices. Develop plans, schedules, and requirements for deployment of systems. Perform defined processes and practices to manage systems, software, and networks to ensure consistent and reliable operation to meet business needs. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology-related field preferred, but not required. Experience: 8+ years' experience in this field required. Banking or finance experience is preferred, but not required. Advanced training in System and Virtualization Technologies. Certifications related to current environment. Group policy and Windows domain management. Scripting Powershell, Python Familiarity with banking applications is a plus. Fiserv, Jack Henry, CSI, FIS, etc. Cloud computing Azure, Private, Snowflake Enterprise Storage Dell EMC IaaS Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes. Virtualization VMware Skills: Ability to follow, analyze, and optimize instructions, processes, and data. Effective problem-solving, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills. Strong documentation and communication skills, including speaking, writing, and active listening. Technical skills, and knowledge of infrastructure and software environments, programs, and methodologies. Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or carry objects which weigh as much as 25 or more pounds. Availability for occasional required extended hours, including working earlier, later, or longer than the normal workday in order to facilitate project deadlines or provide emergency support to ensure and maintain the operational status of the company.
