DescriptionThe Virtual Personal Banker will have an in depth knowledge of Northwest commercial, consumer products and services. The Virtual Personal Banker must have an in-depth knowledge of the complexity of commercial structures, documentation, and servicing needs. This position will also assist our consumer banking customers with their financial needs that are referred by the Contact Center. This role will connect with our commercial and consumer customers with Northwest products and services that fulfill their financial needs while ensuring an exceptional customer experience that helps implement strategies to work with the team in achieving targeted goals.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Facilitate the onboarding and growth of commercial customer relationships, including opening new accounts and communicating with customers and relationship managers to recognize cross-selling opportunitiesHave consistent, holistic financial wellness conversations and best practicesConduct outbound business calls/referrals on a regular basisIdentify and resolve customer issues and escalate as neededAssist with implementation of Northwest's strategic business plan and marketing initiativesReview customer organizational, fiduciary and internal documents and accept these documents on behalf of NorthwestEducate and/or refer Northwest solutions that meet our customer/client needsAssist the commercial lending team with any needs related to commercial accountsOriginate and process account opening requestsSupport customer inquiries regarding their accounts, requests, advances, and other needsEnhance and support growth of commercial relationships with internal and external affiliatesResolve customer concerns quickly, professionally, and accuratelyAttend educational/training seminars as neededAble to work evening hours and weekends as scheduled or assignedOversee onboarding of new and existing employees and customersEnsure compliance with Northwest's policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulationsNavigate Microsoft Office Software, computer applications, and software specific to the department in order to maximize technology tools and gain efficiencyWork as part of a teamWork with on-site equipment KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Ability to establish effective working relationships among team members and participate in solving problems and making decisionsAbility to present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to the audience, whether oral or writtenAbility to actively listen to what others are saying to achieve understanding, sharing information with others and facilitating the open exchange of ideas and informationAbility to establish courses of action for self to accomplish specific goals, develop and use tracking systems for monitoring own work progress, and effectively use resources such as time and informationAbility to make right decisions based on perceptive and analytical processes, practicing good judgment in gray areas QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred Work Experience: 3 - 5 years Banking, Retail, and/or Commercial Banking Experience preferredCustomer Service Experience preferred COMPENSATION:The pay range for this position is generally $16.00 to $17.50 per hour. Shift differentials are provided for hours worked outside of standard office operations. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the successful candidate's experience, skills, and knowledge. Additional bonus earning opportunities and benefits are also available.This is a continuous job posting.
