About the RoleThe RMA Technician is responsible for performing product diagnosis, repairs, service, and business system processing. Candidates for this position should be strong communicators with advanced problem-solving and analytical skills, be detail-orientated and well-organized. Adept technical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues is required. Candidates must be able to perform at a high level of quality with minimal supervision. Your Key Responsibilities Perform functional test of company's PCBA and system level productsTest and troubleshoot board failures as required Provide detailed failure analysis Adhere to Manufacturing Process instructions or other established procedures during the manufacturing process to produce a quality product. Follow all applicable work instructions to perform testing and repair processes. Take initiative to identify problems and their root causes as well as participate in solutions.Process RMAs using established business systemsInterface and dialogue with external customers as necessary Maintain detailed records of failures and escalate to management as necessary Required Qualifications Associates degree in Electronics and/or three to five years of experience Desired Qualifications - Applied Knowledge of: Electronic Technician certification or comparable certification or licensureElectronic manufacturing environment experience IPC-610 and J-STD certification Thorough understanding of electronics principles, theory, and repairUsing test instruments like Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Power Supplies, etc.Experience in PCBA rework (SMT and PTH)Reading and understanding schematics, datasheets, and written work instructionsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareDetail-oriented and organizedTroubleshooting, identification of electronic and mechanical failure modes Ability to follow complex directionsExcellent verbal and written communication skills Benefits: The Watlow Total Compensation Plan The health, well-being and financial stability of you and your family is a high priority to us.
