Position: Sales, Inventory, & Operations Planning (SIOP) Intern Location: Ballantyne, NC Job Id: 3861 # of Openings: 1 Position Overview: As a SIOP intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the development, documentation, and execution of Supply Chain planning processes, inclusive of demand and supply planning, master data management, and cross-functional collaboration. Location: Charlotte, NC (Ballantyne office) Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Demand Forecasting: assist in the development of demand forecasts via collaboration with Sales and Marketing, as well as hands on experience in an MRP planning tool Inventory Management: Support inventory optimization efforts through assisting in creating processes to identify and correct master data discrepancies as well as process for ownership/maintenance of master data SIOP Process Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the SIOP process, inclusive of documentation, KPI metrics, and presentation template creation Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities: Excellent communication and teamwork skills Detail- oriented with strong quantitative skills Ability to work independently Basic knowledge of supply chain principles Proficient in Microsoft excel and PowerPoint Required Qualifications: Pursuing bachelor's degree in a Supply Chain, Finance, or Data Analytics field Able to work full time (40 hours) from June 3, 2024 to August 9, 2024 About Columbus McKinnon: Columbus McKinnon is a leading worldwide designer, manufacturer and marketer of intelligent motion solutions that move the world forward and improve lives by efficiently and ergonomically moving, lifting, positioning and securing materials.
