Smoothie King Locations: 1995 Union Avenue (Midtown) 431 S. Highland Street (located in the Newks & Char plaza) 4562 Poplar Avenue (located in the oak court mall area) Smoothie King is looking for a cashier/Smoothie Makers to join our team. The Team Member will use cash registers, electronic scanners, and other related equipment to conduct monetary transactions with our guest. The ideal candidate is dependable and reliable with excellent customer service skills, top-notch accuracy, and displays exceptional customer service. Responsibilities: Customer service – Greet Guest as they enter the location and answer any questions or as needed. Assist the Guest with locating various products and resolving complaints as they arise. Cash handling – Accept money in the form of cash, checks, and credit or debit cards for items purchased. Ensure accurate transactions by balancing the cash register at the beginning and end of the shift. Accept and process all returns or exchanges according to store policy. Requirements: High school diploma required (or equivalent) Excellent customer service skills Excellent verbal communication skills Ability to operate available equipment, such as cash registers, calculators, or scanners Necessary mathematical skills, as needed to make the change and give refunds Knowledgeable about the company's products and services and customer-related policies Smoothie King: Our Team Members make it happen! They help Guests meet their fitness and nutrition goals by helping select smoothies and retail products that inspire our Guests to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. Ethics and Values Fosters an environment of Team Work Rings up orders and handles payment Guest Focus Is responsible for product and Guest Service experience Greets and engages with the Guest to provide a friendly experience Ensures our Guests’ purposes are met when smoothies are ordered Blends smoothie according to the recipe ticket for a consistent taste Interpersonal Savvy Is able to concisely communicate details about Smoothie King products and information to all Guests Communicates with fellow Team Members and Managers in a positive manner Patience Is eager to help Guests make a selection when Guests express difficulty with ordering or selecting a smoothie Remains calm with fellow Team Members and Guests during high volume times Perseverance Completes daily checklist duties Is open to feedback from Team Members, Shift Leads, and/or Managers , then practices and perfects task(s) Approaches tasks with a positive attitude Time Management Shows up on time for work Balances personal life without interference to their work schedule. Essential Job duties: Ability to tolerate exposure to a wide variety of fresh, dried and/or frozen products, and powdered substances, including, but not limited to, strawberries, bananas, peanuts, tree nuts (such as almonds), milk, soy, proteins, trains and spices without posing a direct threat to personal health and safety Ability to follow procedures and willingness to comply with dress code requirements Ability to keep the store clean and follow food safety regulations Ability to operate a blender and POS cashier system Ability to move boxes, weighing up to 55 lbs throughout the store Ability to position self to bend, reach and scoop through assigned shifts Powered by JazzHR
