Alfa Romeo archive states that the car was built Nov. 22, 1962, and sold to Hoffman Motors Jan. 7, 1963. Originally red (AR 505) with a black interior.Owned the car since 2003. During my ownership, I have replaced flexible brake lines, rebuilt starter, had White Post rebuild master cylinder, replaced sway bar bushings, replaced voltage regulator and distributor cap and rotor, replaced brake seals and turned drums, replaced gauge faces.The car runs and drives beautifully. There is very little rust, the floorpans and battery area in the trunk were redone sometime along the way. The motor does not burn oil and does't leak. The 1300 has stock intake valves and valve springs, 105 sodium exhaust valves, a 1600 clutch, 1750 cams and a Weber 36 DCD.The car has the rare 3 shoe brakes, which can be tough to keep adjusted, but they look fantastic and stop surprisingly well. I assume the Giulia steering wheel is due to the car being a late '62.The jack isn't pictured, but is included. The top has faded by the sun.
