This ad is for my 1968 GTO. It has a 242 vin; it is a real GTO. It has been in the family for two generations (my dad and I). The car is in great shape. It has a Big Block 400 and a turbo 400, 3 speed automatic with a shift kit. It is posi an I am not sure of the gear ratio. The car has power brakes and very cool hide away headlights. Tach and rear wing were added by my dad. The cooling system was converted to an electric fan rather than belt driven. The car has new coil over springs in the rear. The exhaust is less than a year old, stickers are still on the tailpipes. All seat belts are there and work as they should. All windows roll up and down as they should. We have the paint code. The paint is in excellent shape as well as the interior. We drive this GTO everywhere and anywhere. The car gets lots of complements. This car is very pretty and very reliable. The motor was rebuilt prior to dad buying it. It has a nice cam with a good idol. I know it has roller rockers and I do have a picture of them installed if you would like to see them. We put a new Holley avenger on it a couple of months ago. All tune up and maintenance has been done. The car needs nothing. Get in and go have fun. Your right foot determines how much fun you will have. Look at the pictures and you will see it sits as it should. The interior is in great shape. I have put a radio with remote in the glove box so that the dash stayed original. I added redundant gauges below the dash but the ones in the dash worked prior to me changing the sending units to the lower dash gauges. Fuel gauge and lights all work as they should including dome light. Even the clock works. Power antenna works but the up/down switch is finicky. Goes up great but you have to play with switch to make it go down. I very rarely put it up, radio comes in just perfect. Tires are in great shape. The car drives excellent, free of rattles, shakes or funny noises.The car does have power steering and rear sway bar. The rear lower control arms are boxed. The car is a factor V2 nightshade green paint code.Car has a high flow Flowcooler water pump and NEW Griffin aluminum radiator. Have a factory wheel and tire that comes with the car as a spare (matches the ones on the car).
