1962 Ford Galaxie 500 â Saloon Road RacerNew and faithfully built to production based FIA European Racing Sedan Series of the early 1960âs.The authentic big block Ford Galaxie (build VR#0004) is a one of a kind vehicle with a keen focus on vintage style, appearance, sound and performance. VR#004 is the way they were built back in the day when two foot stops and power slides got you around famous European circuits. Built using a reference to a 1962 competition rulebook, the vehicle features a completely fresh High Performance Ford FE 390 Ford Cruisomatic with period correct bolt on speed equipment â Edelbrock, Kelsey Hayes, Hurst, Hooker, Kirkey, American Racing Cooper Tires. New top to bottom custom build, including all-steel body modifications, track suspension/ geometry, minimalist interior, drive train, full 10-point safety cage and overall styling using era correct modifications. Vintage inspired hand polished paint, hand painted lettering and vintage competition graphics. All original chrome, bright-work and patina remains where possible, to exude a 50 year-old barn find. The Galaxie is fully street legal.VR#004 is serial numbered using numbered VinRacer build plates and registered to new owner as an inaugural member of new vintage racer car club that will tour car shows and track days as gentlemen racers in US.Experience 60âs style performance in an affordable, one of a kind vintage vehicle.
