1973 Meyers Manxthis is the real dealnot a clone 70s wannabeTHE BODY IS AN ORIGINAL MEYERS MANX, THE PAN IS A 1973 BEETLE, IT HAS BEENMODIFIED FOR STRENGTH AND RIGIDITY, LOTS AF BRACING IN FLOOR.this Meyers was restored and built / finished a few yrs agoand no expense was spared in the process.Lots of upgrades thru out and almost taken to a Resto Modstatus if you will. you cant drive this around without getting thumbs up and attention from everyone, everywhere you go.And its NOT A TRAILER QUEEN, it was built to drive andenjoy. Even on the freeway at 70 this vehicle is solid withnone of the usual dune buggy shake etc most have because ofbad design flaws etc.DRIVETRAIN: the motor is a 2332 using a brand new Big Bore Case $900for that alone. Along with a forged crank, chevy rods, Mahl pistons, New 044heads, Dual 44 Webers. Also has a hydraulic clutch with performance partsthere too. Viper all billet shift lever w/ cable operated reverse lock out.Much much more... check out the pics. Runs great, plenty of power !Motor is basically all new stroker motor, with about 2600 miles on it.Also it uses an alternator now and has a serpentine belt set up too.CHASSIS: the chassis has been re-inforced both front and rear. Rear trailingarms are box off road style. FRONT AXLE IS A 73 VW THING WITH THE FACTORY BRACES,NEW BALL JOINT AND TIERODS ASSEMBLIES, AT 70MPH ON HIGHWAY NO SHAKING FROM BODY OR WINDSHIELD,STRAIGHT DOWN THE ROAD WITH ONE HAND ON STEERING WHEELFRONT TIRES 235/45/17REAR TIRE GOODYEAR EAGLES 285/50/20WHEELS ARE by UNIQUEPretty much everything on it is new in this area.THE BODY IS AN ORIGINAL MEYERS MANX, THE PAN IS A 1973 BEETLE, IT HAS BEENMODIFIED FOR STRENGTH AND RIGIDITY, LOTS AF BRACING IN FLOOR.INTERIOR: take a look at the pics, . its pretty sweet. Black with matchinggreen accents. Padded roll cage, racing seats, New AutoMeter gauges, customsteering wheel of course, short shifter, custom rear trunk area above thebattery box, lap belts and harnesses, and the list goes on.Roll bar and reinforced caged rear area are all new and powdercoated too.Bikini soft top is new too.EXTERIOR: the looks to be all original gel coat metal flake, not surewhen the flames where added, but prob over 10 or so yrs ago.SUSPENSION: the suspension , shocks all new and related parts.Rides and handles awesome.
