1968 Chevy short bed C10. This is an original short bed truck that has been FRAME OFF RESTORED. Everything has been taken apart and put back together. To retain some originality and also some function, the bed was left original and was not restored. It still retains the original paint. The dash and most of the interior also retains the original paint. It has some minor cracking in certain places, but for the most part it is still very nice. The outside of the truck was stripped to bare metal and painted the original color. As mentioned before, every nut and bolt is new on this truck. The restoration is about 7 years old and shows very nicely. There are a few minor nicks and scratches, but they are few. The paint is very nice, and the panels are super straight. The motor is a GM performance parts ZZ4 that runs excellent. It was assembled with somewhat of a factory feel, so it does not have headers and runs a quadrajet carburetor with factory style ram horn manifolds. Motor runs as new and is 100% dialed in. Choke is functional, and it idles rock solid at 650rpm. No noises, no smoke, no burning oil. You can drive this cross country. The transmission is a TH350 and also works perfectly. For the suspension, the truck has AIR RIDE but no air management has been added just yet. Air bags do not leak and are filled at the rear of the truck via 4 fittings for each wheel. All bushings and other suspension components are also new. In the rear, the shocks were moved outboard of the frame using the No Limit shock relocation kit. It works great and this truck rides fantastic! Every light and gauge in/out works. They are crisp and light up bright. Radio works as well. Seat is in great shape and not worn. Tires and wheels are new. Brakes are perfect.
