1996 Mercedes Benz W463 Chassis Diesel 4x4. OM606 Turbo Diesel motor. Was originally imported through GK Auto in Santa Ana, CA in 2003 with 66204 mi. Truck was purchased in 2012 with 101k miles. Celebrity pedigree. Currently has 111k miles. Numerous repairs and accessories placed over the years. 2011 Catalytic converter rear door Ladder2012 new tires BFG all road 285/75/16, change front grille, powder coat wheels and running boards 2013 New alternator, new radiator, new intake fuel pump and lift pump, remote and ignition tumbler, V belt, idler pulleys, EGR Valve, Cleaned waste gate, Exhaust manifold gasketAll 6 injectors, seals, return lines Water valve behind cylinder head under intake manifoldWaste gate switchover valve 9 (vacuum)MAP sensorTransmission conductor plateRebuilt transmission valve bodyAll intake manifold gaskets, vacuum hoses/linesRear mounted BatterySunroof sealSunroof cable shroudFog lamp wiringAll front suspension components/linksAxle seals in frontBoth front wheel bearingsa/c dryer with sensors2014 ECU repair of radial 5volt sensors that had a short. (Peter Remmington Auto-Tec)2015 rebuilt fuel injection pump and EGC (Diesel World, Santa Ana, CA)2016 change leaking hoses (Coastline Imports), glow plugs, relay for 60It took 4 years to figure out the loss of power upon acceleration which was finally diagnosed and repaired in 2015. I took it to multiple mechanics and Benz dealers and specialists from all over the world to find the problem which was the EGC in the injection pump. Along the way almost every part in the fuel delivery system was changed.There still are a cosmetic details that still need to be addressed. The paint on metal is in good condition but the paint on fiberglass trim and front grille needs to be repainted. Front grille paint clear coat is beginning to develop an air bubble underneath. Car was in a minor fender bender from previous owner. Bumper needs to be repainted as well. Motor is very solid, AC is strong. I still have original front grille, and extra corner markers, and an extra injection pump from Russia. Headliner has stains from leaking sunroof seal which was fixed in 2013. BFG tires are at 85-90. Small areas of rust in the rear left corner near the bumper.
