For sale we have this sweet 1959 Chevrolet Apache. Recently brought back to life after decades of sitting in a barn. A Texas solid example, she shows an awesome mother nature paint finish that no paint shop could replicate, one of a kind ! Completely bone dry solid, the only rust she has is the surface rust which has been clear coated to preserve that sun burnt farm truck look. The frame, inner sills, floor pans and cab corners are completely solid with no repair work anywhere. She has some very small pin holes along the bottom of one of the wings which is shown in one of the photos but that adds to the look. Shes been refreshed for daily use, brakes gone through, new fluids, plugs, leads etc and she runs like a champ, ready to be driven right away. She starts right up, no smoking, clunking or any other unwanted noises, Transmission shifts as it should, clutch engages properly, stops on the dime, suspensions nice and tight. Even all the electricals work ! 12 volt converted, the instrument cluster works, speedo, head lights, brake lights all in working order. Fitted with a brand new set of coker white walls and the rims painted to freshen up. All the glass is original to the truck and in good order. Its showing slight signs of delamination here or there but still very good, drivers side has a small chip as shown in the pictures but its not necessary to replace unless you want to carry out a full restoration. Interior is basic, dash has also been clear coated, mexican blanket seat cover and thats pretty much it. The truck boasts her original 235 ci 6 cylinder engine which has been refreshed to use and she purrs along with no issues, original 3 speed column shift, original drum brakes all around which have also been refreshed. She would make a great candidate with how straight and solid she is for a factory restoration, or simply use as is. Take a look through all the pics and ask more if you are interested.
