The original numbers matching GS 350/4bbl V8 engine is very powerful and runs strong. It was rebuilt in 2015, bored 30 over with all new bearings, timing chain and valve job. At this time the original GS 400 Turbo Hydramatic Automatic Transmission was also rebuilt, and shifts through the gears as it should very smooth operation. The gas tank and sending unit were removed and replaced. The dual exhaust was also replaced and it sounds amazing. This car runs and drives great and performs extremely well with smooth aggressive acceleration. It goes down the road nice and straight, very tight with no squeaks, rattles or funny noises. Equipped with power disc brakes, power steering, and a recent set of BF Goodrich Radial tires this American Classic holds the road and stops on a dime!The exterior of the car looks great with all the original rust free body panels. The paint shines and shows nicely with no blisters and no damage. The vinyl top was replaced and is in excellent condition. The chrome and stainless trim are in very good shape and shine nicely. The White/Black Deluxe wood grain trim interior is extra clean and looks super nice! The instrument panel, dash, headliner, door panels, carpet and the seats are all in excellent condition with little wear and tear. A new original style 3-Spoke Comfort-Grip Sport Steering Wheel was just installed replacing the aftermarket steering wheel pictured in this listing giving this GS an authentic original stock appearance. The car came with air conditioning with climate control. The A/C was removed at time of engine rebuild, I have the compressor, brackets, hoses, all of the original parts to be re-installed, if you choose to do so. The undercarriage of this GS is rock solid, all frame rails, floorboards and trunk pan are all rust free.
