They Took it for a run up the coast and the engine went Ka-put (92 year old owner story). Her husband towed home and started to take apart the engine to see what happened and gave up and there it sit in a Barn. This van had 7-8 years on the road before it was parked in this barn. We think the guy felt he was in over his head so he stopped. Wife never heard what he found and he is no longer with us.We pulled it out of the barn and started cleaning all the years of dirt off of it.Paint, interior upholstery, headliner,rubber flooring etc are all original. We see two dings and one dent on the passenger side. The dent is on the lower rocker see all photos. This Van is in amazing condition. SOLID SOLID SOLID DRY California weather and no rust/cancer anywhere that we could find. I know that the emergency brake works and the 4 speed shifter shifts. Comes with the original 1964 Corvair owners guide. Tires old but hold air. This is such a sweet survivor wanting someone who has the love for these Rare Corvair Greenbrier Vans to make it a runner again. One broken window on the Right passenger side rear.
