Description:

I'm selling my 1972 Chevrolet 3/4 ton K20 with factory K20. I've been using it as a part time cruiser and around town driver. Attracts a ton of attention. Looks great, sounds great, and runs strong. I looked for a 72 K20 for a long time before finding this one. The reason I chose this truck is the cab is by far the best I have found. The rockers, cab corners, inside kick panels, floor, rain gutters, windshield top, cab supports are all rock solid with no bondo or rust. The truck has never been molested and looks great with steel 16 inch wheels, new BFG 35" tires, and extremely hard to find 3/4 ton 4x4 hubcaps. -Engine/Drivetrain/Suspension: The truck has a 350 engine which, I believe to be a crate replacement. It runs extremely strong and has good oil pressure (I have included a picture of the oil pressure gauge with the truck running) I just installed a skip white HEI, plug wires, and Holley electric choke 650 CFM carburetor. Truck starts easy and idles great. New optima battery with custom hold down. The truck has a 3 speed automatic transmission and shifts good. Truck runs and drives good around town and the short trips on I5 I have taken have been without any issues. Has full length headers going into dual flowmasters with H member. Sounds great. Truck has its original axles and new seals, gaskets, and fluids were done front and rear 1 year ago. Factory 4:10 gears. New brakes (Power Disc/Drum) were done at the same time as the axle service. Front spring bushings are new energy suspension polyurethane and new bushings are include for the rear if you decide to do those down the line. Truck rides pretty stiff as an old 4x4 does. Power steering/power brakes. -Interior: Not much to say here. Windows roll up and down well. Gauges all work, including the fuel gauge. The aftermarket tach is not hooked up yet (I was planning on removing it anyway). The seat I believe still has the original cover which is in good shape. Original steering wheel is nice. Truck is a radio delete and has the factory delete plate. Glove box has original owners manual. Dash pad is nice and so are the visors. Inside of cab has nice paint, new sill plates, new window and door seals. Tilt steering column. Heat/defrost works well. -Paint/Body: As stated up top, the cab is the reason I bought the truck. The cab is rock solid. The truck actually has about 70% original paint. Some of the truck has been touched up over the years. I personally love the patina and how it looks. Glass is all good. The truck has a few dings here and there. There is one dent under the rocker which I took a picture of. The doors had the camper mirrors removed (I was going to put them back on but, will leave that up to the new owner) The inner fenders/core support are very nice. Drivers door bottom on the inside pinch weld area is cracked. Outside skin is rust free. The tailgate, bedsides and front bed panel are solid. The bed floor does have a few small rust spots. I was planning on converting to a wood bed floor or fix those areas and spray in a body color bed liner. The bed floor is straight and not wavy. Locking tool box is included. Extremely heavy duty rear bumper and hitch assemblies. Looks really tough from behind. Has a new electric brake set up. Previous owner use to tow a small tear drop trailer around the Northwest with it so, the truck is extremely capable. I'm attaching about 70 pictures. I haven't spray painted or dolled anything up like dealers do. The floors are dirty underneath but, they are rock solid as you can see. Just an honest 72 K20 which is arguably the best year for these trucks. I have priced it very fair
