Citibank, N.A. seeks a Credit Portfolio Senior Analyst for its Wilmington, Delaware location. Duties: Perform ad hoc credit analyses and prepare MIS reports as requested by senior management. Utilize SAS/SQL in a UNIX environment to perform risk and data analysis including profiling, sampling, reconciliation, forecasting, modelling and quality testing. Develop credit risk strategies using segmentation techniques and advanced data analysis in order to identify cohorts of high, medium and low risk for appropriate credit action to manage risk-return dynamics. Translate business objectives (portfolio return optimization, risk mitigation, credit policy optimization) into analytical frameworks and solve them by using optimal trade-offs between risk and revenue metrics. Leverage external data from credit bureaus and internal data to design analytical solutions, perform advanced statistical analyses, and advanced segmentation techniques to identify relationships and trends in data for objective function optimization. Support end-to-end development and implementation of credit risk policies to manage risk-return dynamics. Work with cross-functional teams and present recommendations to senior management. Monitor and review weekly and monthly Management Information Systems to identify early emerging risk and portfolio trends to facilitate sound business decisions. Create management reporting using Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau to monitor credit risk programs, portfolio performance, and key policy changes to derive relevant insights for the leadership team. Design credit tests using statistical techniques such as design of experiments to identify credit opportunities at the margins to extend credit for better portfolio returns. Prepare credit change documentation for senior management review and risk governance. Work with cross-functional teams including marketing, finance, and decision management to optimally run credit programs. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols. Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field and 2 years of experience as a Senior Associate, Research Associate, or related position involving developing strategies to achieve business goals. Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 5 years of the specified progressive post-baccalaureate experience.
