We are experts in compounding for a variety of indications such as men's health, women's health and IV therapy, as well as provide a more suitable alternative to standard prescription and over-the-counter medicines. We work closely with our physicians to solve problems for hard to source and hard to compound pharmaceuticals.Tailor Made Compounding is hiring a Third Shift, Full-Time Staff Pharmacist for our growing team! The pharmacist will be primarily responsible for dispensing medications, counseling patients on the use of the medicine and advise physicians about medication therapy. All tasks and duties must be completed in accordance and compliance with HIPAA guidelines, State and Federal laws, and current company policies and procedures.Key Responsibilities:Dispense prescribed medications, drugs and other pharmaceuticals for patient careReview prescriptions issued by physician or other authorized prescriber to assure accuracy and determine formulas and ingredients neededDirect pharmacy technicians engaged in mixing, packaging and labeling pharmaceuticalsAnswer questions and provide information to pharmacy customers on drug interactions, side effects, dosage and storage of pharmaceuticalsMaintains established procedures concerning quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and disposal of hazardous waste drugsEnter data such as patient name, prescribed medication and costAssay medications to determine identity, purity and strengthInstruct interns and other medical personnel on matters pertaining to pharmacyExperience and Educations Requirements:Requires a Doctorate Degree of Pharmacy1-2 years of pharmacy experience preferred3-5 years as a Pharmacist preferredMinimum of 1 year sterile and/or non-sterile compounding experience preferredRequires a Kentucky Pharmacist LicenseLicensure in additional states is preferred, but not requiredOther Qualifications to be Considered:Strong emotional maturity and intelligenceStrong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detailExpert level of written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrate proactive approaches to problem solving with strong decision making capabilityHighly versatile and resourceful team player with the ability to also be extremely effective independentlyProven ability to handle confidential information with discretionBe adaptable to various competing demands and demonstrate the highest level of customer service and responseDemonstrate ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast paced environmentForward looking thinker, actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutionsJob Type: Part-Time and Full-Time Available!$10,000 Sign-On BonusHours: 1st and 2nd Shifts Available!Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401KAdditional Information: Full-Time employees receive 3 weeks of Paid Time Off per year plus an additional Birthday PTO day to be used in the month of their birthday!!ADA Disclaimer: In developing this job description care was taken to include all competencies needed to successfully perform in this position.
