We seek a mechanically minded individual looking for an opportunity to join an efficient auto service center team! Our successful automotive technician candidate understands vehicle electrical and computer systems and is able to properly diagnose and fix repairs. If you believe you are the candidate we need, apply today! Responsibilities: • Perform routine maintenance, as needed, like checking fluid levels, rotating tires, and oil changes• Clearly articulate automotive repair issues and repairs needed to remedy them to both customers and auto mechanics • Establish processes for tracking diagnostics and system repairs, maintaining up-to-date manufacturer specifications, and more• Operate diagnostic equipment to accurately determine the cause of malfunction codes with the vehicle’s integrated computer system• Facilitate customer satisfaction and repeat business by following all manufacturer specifications for vehicle systems repairs Qualifications: • Stellar customer service and communications skills are mandatory• Automotive service technology training program completion or equivalent years of experience is required; associates degree is a bonus• Automotive Service Excellence /ASE certification or Society of Automotive Engineers /SAE certification is preferred• GED or high school diploma is mandatory Compensation: 50,000 - 100,000 About Company: Regional Automotive Group in the Baltimore area with 10+ locations.
