Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator The Valley Forge Sewer Authority (VFSA), a regional wastewater conveyance and treatment municipal authority located in Chester County PA, is seeking a full-time Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator for our facility at 333 Pawling Road in Schuylkill Township PA.Starting hourly salary is $26.75 per hour. Requirements: This position requires at least a high school diploma and a minimum of (3) years experience as a wastewater treatment plant operator. This person must be capable of performing general work in one or more trades such as mechanics, industrial electricity, programmable logic controllers (PLC) programming, plumbing, welding, millwright, preventative maintenance, etc. You must have knowledge of functions and operation of wastewater treatment plant process unit operations and equipment and their controls such as pumps, clarifiers, compressors, aerators, disinfection equipment, etc. Must have valid motor vehicle operator’s license and be computer literate and flexible as to working conditions including working with wastewater, hours, and be willing to develop new skills while working in a small organization of less than 25 individuals.
