Wastewater Maintenance PersonNiagara County Sewer District #1 Distinguishing Features of the Class: An employee in this class performs maintenance and repair work in the efficient accomplishment of semi-skilled plumbing work at a wastewater treatment plant, tributary pump station and/or on the municipal wastewater distribution system. Some clerical functions may be performed in addition to building and grounds maintenance work on municipal facilities. The work is performed under general supervision. This class if distinguished from that of Wastewater Maintenance Person II by the lack of supervisory responsibilities, type of equipment to be maintained, and the size and organizational structure of the municipality.
