MECHANIC The City of Dubuque, Iowa invites applications for the position of Mechanic. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing skilled mechanical work in the repair and maintenance of diversified automotive and heavy equipment following set guidelines to maintain the safety and reliability of the unit. The successful candidate will possess one year experience in heavy equipment maintenance or one year in tech school; experience working with a diverse workforce and population; a high school diploma or its equivalent; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the essential knowledge, skills and abilities. The City offers an hourly range of $24.71 to $27.98, and an attractive benefit package.The City of Dubuque is an equal opportunity employer.
