Hun Fund Responsibilities: Assist the director of the Hun Fund in assigned aspects of planning and executing the Hun Fund program including recruiting, training and supporting Hun Fund volunteers; Assist in managing Hun Fund appeals - written, telephone, email, web-based social media, and face-to-face; Cultivate and personally solicit a portfolio of Hun Fund leadership gift prospects in their 5 th , 10 th , and 15 th Reunions; Manage select volunteers/committees, plan and attend relevant volunteer meetings, prepare meeting materials and presentations as appropriate; Assist with Hun Fund acknowledgment and stewardship process; Oversee matching gift outreach for youngest fifteen classes; Assist with managing all Hun Fund related events, activities and volunteer recognition; Attend and assist as needed in planning and managing Advancement Office special events; Manage relationships with 3 rd party vendors; Other duties as assigned by the Director of the Hun Fund. Young Alumni Giving/Alumni Relations responsibilities: Manage the Young Alumni Giving program including the 5 th , 10 th , and 15 th Reunions and class gifts; Educate members of the senior class and young alumni on the importance of giving back, the value of the alumni network, and staying connected with Hun after graduation; Recruit and manage Young Alumni volunteers, plan Young Alumni events, and manage the nomination process for the Young Alumnus of the Year; Manage the collection and coordination of class notes from the first fifteen classes; Attend and assist as needed in planning and managing Alumni Weekend. Social Media/Communications Responsibilities Collaborate with Communications pertaining to the School's social media content and how the Hun Alumni presence fits in with overall messaging (Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, etc.); Create compelling digital content for various social media platforms as well as the cultivation and stewardship of donors as needed; Create Advancement Office's social media strategy, presence, and communications; Create nuanced stories and cases for support for use in general Advancement materials. The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills, experience, and requirements: Bachelor's degree; Minimum of 1 to 3 years experience; Outstanding writing and interpersonal skills; High energy with attention to detail; Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently; Proficiency with computers, and strength with social media; Ability to work independently and as part of a team, building relationships across campus and with donors; Ability to communicate orally and in writing across multiple constituencies and audiences; Experience in digital marketing a plus; Perform tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, which may be altered or redesigned as necessary; Ability to periodically work beyond and outside the typical workday in order to meet the needs of the advancement office and the School; A collaborative, trust-based work style; Must possess good judgment, tact, sensitivity, and discretion in the handling of confidential information, materials, and situations; Personal qualities including resilience, approachability, and kindness; Must be fingerprinted and pass a full Criminal History Background check which includes fingerprinting. The Hun School of Princeton, an independent, coeducational boarding and day school, with a diverse student body of 650 in grades 6-PG, is distinguished by its highly engaging college preparatory curriculum, broad extracurricular programs, supportive faculty, and a happy and kind community spirit.The position is full-time, twelve (12) months per year, exempt, and eligible for all benefits afforded to full-time Hun School employees. The working environment is an office and school environment on a hilly 45-acre campus in Princeton, New Jersey. The abilities to occasionally lift files and storage boxes, walk up and downstairs, attend meetings in varying locations throughout campus, and continually use computers and related office equipment are required.
