It is within a six-hour drive of several major metropolitan areas (Omaha, NB; Minneapolis, MN; Kansas City, MO)Benefits include health, vision, dental and life insurance, access to campus wellness program and facilities, vacation, sick and holiday pay, tuition reimbursement and retirement.Dakota Wesleyan University is seeking a dynamic, energetic and professional individual to join our admissions staff.Associate Director of Admissions position will provide key leadership and oversight for the recruitment of all undergraduate students; mentor and train new Admissions Counselors and work closely with the Vice President of Admissions to contribute to the planning and process of strategic planning of university enrollment goals. The qualified applicant will also be responsible for recruitment of first-time freshman and transfer students from a geographic territory, recruitment and admission of International students, territory management, marketing and recruitment activities on and off campus, counseling prospective students and families, and the selection of applicants for admission. Seasonal travel and occasional weekend and evening work should be expected as part of the normal recruitment process. Successful candidates will have excellent written and verbal communication, ability to manage complex detailed projects, and have a demonstrated commitment to the mission of DWU and our values of learning, leadership, faith, and service. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; two to three years of experience in college recruiting, admissions or related field.
