Description:

The Tulane Institute of Sports Medicine seeks an experienced Athletic Trainer to be the lead with a Major League Rugby Team in New Orleans. This person must be able to manage at least one other Athletic Trainer and interface with a physical therapist and strength and conditioning staff. Must be able to work a variable schedule which could involve some nights and weekends, plus travel. Applicants must have experience with rugby, soccer, or football. Proficiency in the emergency management of athletic injuries is essential, along with the ability to communicate effectively with physicians, coaches, agents, and peers. Proficiency in the rehabilitation of athletic injuries is a must. This person will be expected to exceed the team's expectations while working independently at a satellite location. This position is part of the Tulane University School of Medicine, Department of Orthopaedics. #IRC17896Tulane is an EOE/M/F/Veteran/Disabled employer.Required Education and/or Experience NATABOC Certification.
