This 1977 Datsun 280Z was sold new at Turner Datsun in Sacramento. California. I purchased it from a dealer friend through a classic car auction in CA. Supposedly he bought it from a guy that purchased it from the family of the owner of 45 years. He was a dealer in Sacramento and took the car in on trade when the car was 1 year old. According to his daughter. the car has 17K original miles.The car is finished in orange over black vinyl upholstery. The interior appears original and is in excellent. unrestored condition. It is powered by a fuel-injected 2.8-liter inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission. The car features independent suspension as well as rack-and-pinion steering.
