A couple months ago I purchased this mare from an Amish man that was leaving the Amish church and wanted to sell her to have money to buy a truck so I bought her to help him out. She is supposed to be a 3/4 Standardbred 1/4 Percheron. Very heavy in foal. Im not for sure what she is bred to but I would assume a Standardbred or another driving horse breed. I wasnât told when I purchased her so I can honestly tell you. She has been drove a whole lot more than she was rode. We have rode her a couple times and she seems to be ok but I wouldnât say she is an experienced riding horse. She does drive very well and is traffic safe. We have used her several times driving since I have had her. I would call her Beginner safe for driving.School kids and the ladies was driving her in the Amish a couple months ago.
