I'm selling a pair of custom-upholestered Corbeau CR1 seats that are made to match the 2007 Parnelli Jones Saleen Mustang interior. The seats were designed by and made by Tritex Corporation out of Columbus, Ohio. Starting with two brand new (standard width*) Corbeau CR1 racing seats, Tritex re-upholestered both seats with new materials that were professionally-selected and fitted to match the existing interior. Being a custom job, if you were to recreate the seats from new, it would cost nearly $4000 plus tax. The workmanship and materials truly make these seats worthy of the PJ Mustang interior. They look as though they came from the Saleen factory this way - which was one of my main objectives. Mitchell Gadd, the former VP of Saleen (at the time this PJ was made) was the main person behind the PJ Mustang project. Mitchell saw these custom PJ Corbeau racing seats in July just after they were completed, he sat in them, and loved them. And another notable benefit of them, as a car driving enthusiast, the seats shaved 50 lbs from the weight of the car by swapping out the original seats with these Corbeau racing seats (27 lbs each). I had these seats made with 3 main objectives in mind. 1. My lower back - suffering from lower back problems the CR1 seats do not have pronounced lumbar support like the orignal seats did. 2. Match the existing PJ interior. 3. Reduce weight (by 50 lbs) and improve driving feel by having a more supportive seat. ------------- I accomplished all three objectives with these seats. However, priorities shifted and I sold the PJ Mustang (reinstalling the original seats). These custom seats were used for less than 4 hours of driving! They are essentially new without signs of wear! Here's a chance for someone to get some custom-made seats that complete the proper look and proper sporty feel of the Parnelli Jones Saleen Mustang. Seats do come with the Ford Racing seat rails that fit the 2005-2009 Mustangs. Shipping will be calculated based on location and is additional to the selling price. Seats do "nest" within one another so they will fit together in one box - this is how they came from Corbeau. I plan to have Tritex corporation package and ship the seats.
