Harrison County Hospital is seeking to hire an experienced Physician Office Billing Representative. STATUS: Full-time BENEFITS OFFERED: Health, Dental, Vision, Retirement, and Life Insurance Employee Health and Wellness Program Tuition Reimbursement Hospital and Physician Practice Discounts Paid Days Off Extended Illness Days Employee Assistance Program Employee Service Awards Cafe Discounts EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Minimum of high school diploma Experience preferred DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Works with office to obtain or give information. Follow up on previously billed accounts. Inputs daily mail comments into system on appropriate accounts. Responds to patient inquiries promptly and courteously. Enter charges for non office visits. Displays knowledge of the A4 system. Is aware and follow HIPAA rules. Receives and answers correspondence concerning refunds. Receives and answers correspondence concerning processing. Works as a team member. Thoroughly document accounts in system when account is referenced for any resaon. Maintains organized and neat workspace. Ability to communicate with understanding and politeness with patients. Adheres to hospital corporate compliance regulations. Maintains proper procedures for fire, disaster drills, etc. Deliver quality service and customer satisfaction. Performs other duties as assigned. Job Posted by ApplicantPro
