Barb is a 10-year blue tick girl who has found herself looking for a new place to call home for her Golden Years. She is a chunky little thing at 33 pounds but is already on the diet and exercise plan! Barb’s house manners are pretty good. She came in with 2 others from a situation where they had been mostly yard dogs. Both females leave a little puddle after eating…marking their spot for the next mealtime?? Otherwise, there have been no accidents. Barb is funny about taking treats from your hand. Treats must be sniffed and tasted before being consumed. Barb is just now showing some interest in playing with the others. She is not big on games or toys but does likes to groom any pack mate that will stand still long enough to having their face washed and ears cleaned! She is not food aggressive but also does not tolerate other dogs getting near her food when eating. She enjoys attention but will take time to warm up to a new family. The comforts we provide our beagles are not what she has ever experienced. Barb will need help showing her how to enjoy the Good Life!
