1990's Trek, early carbon fiber work, when this bike was brand new, this was cutting edge technology.Bonded Carbon fiber tubes to aluminum joints.Kinesis aluminum fork.Shimano Biopace chainwheel (52 teeth).14 speed.All Shimano 600 Components.Ritchey Carbon Pro seatpost w/ comfortable san marco seat.Matrix Clincher racing rims (32 spoke).54cm - I am 5'9" and the bike fits me fine - however I like to keep a tighter, more aerodynamic profile while racing.This Bike was my first triathlon/road bike, and is a great beginner triathlon/road bike. As a competitive triathlete I am trying to upgrade after a few years on this awesome bike. This bike is light (approx. 19lbs), stiff, and fast. It got me a top 25 finish my first year ever doing the Lincoln City Sprint Tri, out of about 250 competitors. It has aero extension bars for triathletes, which the previous owner put on (and would drop about 1lb if removed). It is all black with the carbon fiber look, and does have a few paint chips. I am also willing to throw in a pair of Shimano clip in pedals if you want them.This bike has really grown on me so please no low ball offers, but the price is negotiable. Cash is preferred.Sorry I dont own a camera or phone that can upload pictures, but I will try to have them up as soon as I can.
