About the Position : We are looking for a Utility Helper (full-time, first shift) to join our team. This individual will work in conjunction with the maintenance technician on preventative and corrective maintenance tasks for our fabrication facility while also working on special projects, routine building and grounds maintenance, as well as cross-training in other areas of the production departments. Requirements of the Role: 1+ years of maintenance experience within a similar environment Experience of repair of diesel and mobile equipment & fabrication equipment including brake press, plasma torch, welding machines & wire feeders, manual lathe and mill, & radial arm drill a plus THIS IS NOT JANITORAL WORK Print reading experience mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic is a plus Familiarity with OSHA and MSHA regulations, MSHA training provided by company Willing to cross-train and assist in all areas of building maintenance and production Responsibilities : Assist in the upkeep up preventative maintenance schedule for equipment & machinery Help in completing required maintenance documentation including daily inspections Troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical needs for PHIL products to interface with off-highway trucks Following a work order system, prioritizes and performs corrective maintenance Complete building & grounds maintenance on the fabrication facility, neighboring office building & campus Work on special maintenance projects Maintain and assist in cleanliness and organization of the building Philippi-Hagenbuch/Welarco Fabrications is an Equal Opportunity Employer
