Swank Construction Company is looking for a Equipment Operator to join our Milling Division. Females/Minorities/Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply. TO BE CONSIDERED A QUALIFIED APPLICANT Ability to operate or learn to operate a Rota-Mill. Maintenance of milling equipment & machinery, which includes checking fluids, changing teeth, and washing the machine. Keeps job site clean of all unused/waste materials and ensures all equipment is stored in a safe and secure manner. Dependable, Reliable, Punctual, & Self Motivated. Must be available to work varied shifts (days, nights, weekends) Willingness to travel for extended periods of time. High school diploma or GED equivalent - Required. Valid driver's license - Required. Valid CDL (Class A or B), with tanker endorsement - Preferred. Up-to-date DOT Medical Card - Required. Prior experience as a heavy equipment operator or other relevant experience - Required. Mechanical aptitude - Required. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older. Ability to pass pre-employment drug screens & background check, including MVR. Willingness to perform and learn different aspects of the equipment operator position. Ensure the practice of safety standards in accordance with company policies and OSHA. Perform all other tasks and follow instructions as directed by supervisors.
