Construction Project Estimator Reliable Contractor Services, we specialize in basement waterproofing, excavation projects, sewer projects, and plumbing, are currently seeking a full-time estimator to fill a new position in our growing company. This position will be based out of our Lorain, Ohio office and will require you to provide estimates throughout that serviced area. This is a fast-paced position that will need an experienced candidate that not only processes the necessary skills but also the drive and determination to fulfill all our client's needs. To help you succeed in this position, we will provide: office and in the field training, company logo clothing, company vehicle, cell phone, office, and field support. General Duties Develop accurate estimates for various potential clients requesting company-provided services.On-site visits with those potential clients to discuss and determine the full scope of the project.Preparation of estimates on-site to ensure all potential questions and concerns have been addressed.On-site collection of required deposit when a client accepts estimate.On-site scheduling of accepted projects through communication with the appropriate coordinator.Maintain communication (this may include site visits) with clients throughout the project to ensure complete client satisfaction.Follow up with potential clients on estimates that were not accepted during the initial visit.Communication with office personnel and management to ensure all parties involved are kept up to date on estimate/project status, any issues (potential and realized), additional work that may be required, and/or Required Skills Possess a positive attitude.Represent the company with a professional and well-groomed appearance.Excellent math skills.Basic understanding of accounting and project management concepts.Must be organized and detailed oriented.Great time management skills.Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.Critical thinker and problem solver with the ability to "think outside the box" when necessary.Proficient in Microsoft Office products especially Word and Excel.Ability to multitask.Knowledge of excavation, waterproofing, plumbing, and/or block foundation work.Previous sales and/or estimating experience.
