The River source is looking for a person who enjoys working on a compassionate team providing medical care for this struggling with addiction and mental health issues. As a Medical Assistant, you will provide support ensuring efficient operations of the medical department. Our goal is to deliver services safely, accurately and in a timely manner. If you are someone who enjoys a hands-on, fast-paced environment helping those seeking to reclaim their lives, then check out the duties below! What you will do: Speaking to patients and documenting their basic medical history. Organizing and scheduling appointments. Maintaining accurate and timely medical records. Assisting alongside doctors and nurses conducting medical examinations. What we are looking for: Medical Assistant certificate required. Must be at least 21 years old. Experience in the substance abuse treatment/rehab field. Skills Engaging communication skills. A desire to build rapport and establish professional and therapeutic relationships. An attraction to a dynamic work environment. A hunger to grow and learn personally and professionally. An ability to provide and receive support from an encouraging team.
