Position: Health Unit Coordinator/ Certified Nurse Aide Job Status: Part Time; 12 Hour Night Shifts, 48 Hours Bi-Weekly Required Skills: Ability to be courteous, diplomatic and tactful when interacting with others Ability to remain calm Ability to follow directions and function effectively during emergent, urgent or unexpected events Ability to take initiative and promptly and appropriately follow through with patient care duties Ability to respond to patient/family requests and needs Able to prioritize tasks Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Familiar with medical terminology Computer experience preferred Familiar with ambulance radios and paging systems preferred Excellent organizational skills & neat handwriting a must Qualifications: CNA Certification BLS required or within 6 months of hire Minimum of 6 months experience preferred Helen Newberry Joy Hospital does not discriminate in employment opportunities or practices on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability or any other classification in accordance with federal, state and local statutes, regulations and ordinances.
